SPRING IS KNOCKING AT YOUR DOOR

Although I become quite lunatic when Spring arrives, I really enjoy this season.

No matter how much unstable weather is like, the allergies, and that tiredness that usually affects me so much due to natural changes in my sleep patterns (this year this won’t be a problem, I don’t have patters at all and sleep quite few)…all these negative points are immediately compensated by temperature rising, longer days, and moreover, seems that there are more gorgeous people on the streets, especially here in Barcelona.

Let’s take into consideration I’m a girl, therefore the typical comment referring to women showing “meat” as soon as weather gets better doesn’t apply to my excitement for the season. However it’s true, Barcelona is packed with foreign people on vacation and, actually that’s a shit, but my sore eyes get some sort of relieve when attractive male guiris pass by, speaking mostly English, so relaxed and uninhibited in their movements…uhmmm!

Spring is called the loving season, right? I don’t believe in that crap, once again, all these typical established statements regarding this status are ridiculous and stuck back in our grandparents’ era…It’s true this season helps people looking more attractive, so let’s say, combination of nice weather, early sun tanning and bipolar attitudes, helps to increase appetite for sex (oh yes! I miss banging on a regular basis 😦   ). People go and stay out home much more, that’s the reason for seeing affection on many corners, that’s all.

Aesthetics in this season is appealing to me. Although I don’t consider myself a good photographer, gotta say I’m paying attention to more features related, light is one of them. I reckon in Spring is amazing, and walks loaded with my reflex camera on Sunday morning are usually very successful and prolific. Last year, when I went to Japan, I was recommended to buy  filters for the glasses, and it really worked, skies even bluer, edges and shapes more defined, more lively tones.

Amazing the passing of time, in barely 3 weeks it will be one year since I visited the land of the rising sun, and life has changed a lot, A LOT. Wish I can see the cherry blossom in a couple of years, it’d be a blast. Japan is one of the most beautiful countries in Spring, not that I say so, but seems like everybody agrees on that.

Anyway, although there are still these irregular days, Spring is almost here, and can’t wait to see it, surely it’s gonna be a good one, and want to encourage you to take the streets, parks, beaches or mountain and enjoy the most beautiful days in the year and approach and enjoy your time, something we don’t realize it’s priceless.

  1. As you usually do… it’s a another fun post :). This remembered me to a lovely-drama about Japan: “http://www.filmaffinity.com/es/film857229.html”

It’s only a recommendation, don’t feel obligated to see it.

  2. Did you see the movie? I’d like know your opinion about it… but I’ll still waiting for it ;).

    Cheers!
